  7. Hello,
I would like to post my opinion about the introduction of technology in teaching.
The classroom is no longer a teacher's domain. With the advent of technology in teaching and with the Web 2.0 tools teaching and learning has become fun for it involves the collaberated efforts of the tutor and their ward, interaction between the two leading to the contribution of the latter which is what teaching is all about(an active participation of the student which is a feedback of a kind and an assurance to the teacher of the students understanding of her teaching)

  8. Hello,

Though I am dead against the usage of too much of technology in english language teaching, i found today's sessions to be useful and informative.

But my worries are about the students from rural background and the slow learners. The clarification that i got was not much satisfying to me.

I personally feel that all these technological strategies wil be found enjoyable for the students who have a fair knowledge of english, which will naturally boost up their competence.
But the plight of slow learners of English language.......???????????

The sessions helped me to get a first hand information of how technology can be introduced in classroom teaching. But i doubt the practical implication of it in Arts & Science Colleges which is not not techinally equipped as that of the engg. colleges...

am happy to say that this is my first workshop on ELT.

This is Jaishree, Lecturer, Cauvery College for Women, Trichy....

I would be happy if i get responses for my comments and even more happy if there are points to protest...
